Are Your Dreams Keeping You Up At Night?

There are so many schools of thought on dream interpretation and the Law of Attraction. But, one thing they all agree on is that your dreams are trying to tell you something.

In the last session of Woo at Work, one of the participants asked about her dreams:

Dreams and the Law of Attraction Question

From a Law of Attraction perspective, your dreams reflect your vibration. They will let you know EXACTLY where you are.

If you are having violent dreams, you are likely still between rage and anger on a topic(s). You may have tried to suppress them or you may be unaware completely.

When something shows up in your dream, it’s coming from your subconscious. Particularly when the dream is recurring.

What often happens is that we are in the habit of suppressing emotions that aren’t PC.

For example, you get cut off in traffic and your immediate reaction is to give the guy the finger and yell. But, you’re trying to be all Zen and get this Law of Attraction thing “right”. After all, negative attracts negative, right?

The thing is, by the time you feel the emotion, the thought is already there.

So, when you PRETEND to feel good when you really don’t, it starts to show up in other places. First, in your dreams, then in your life.

“But I don’t get it Nneka. If Law of Attraction says that like attracts like, why would you tell me to feel anger or rage? I don’t want to attract more anger and rage.”

Dream Interpretation using Law of AttractionBecause when you truly feel your feelings, you now have an accurate gauge of your point of attraction.

One of the analogies that Abe uses regularly is the gas gauge on your car.

The gas gauge on your car provides information. It tells you how much gas you have.

Your emotions tell you how much you are allowing. The better you feel, the more you are allowing.

If your gas gauge is on empty and you put a happy face sticker on it, does it mean it’s not empty?

No!

It’s just telling you that it’s empty.

Similarly, when you feel bad, your emotions are just letting you know that your thoughts aren’t helping you get what you’re desiring.

Ignoring your feelings, or pretending to feel good when you don’t doesn’t change the underlying problem that your thought’s aren’t helping you. It doesn’t really change your vibration.

“Okay then Nneka, how do I REALLY change my vibration?”

First, feel your feelings!!!

I didn’t say act on your feelings. Just FEEL them. Allow them.

Get pissed off. Have the rant in your mind. Scribble violently. Play some Eminem.

Give yourself permission to get into the feeling for as long as it feels good to do so.

When screaming to Eminem’s Lose Yourself doesn’t feel good anymore, soothe yourself.

Now, you can start reaching for a better feeling thought.
